October 2014

Want to learn to ski or board? Even if you have no experience on the slopes, Hoofers Ski and Snowboard offers lessons that will have you flying down the hill without falling in no time! You don't even have to be part of the club to take advantage of this opportunity!

Lessons are designed for those who have never skied or snowboarded before. These all-inclusive lessons will cost $60 and will include transportation to and from Tyrol Basin, full rentals and helmet, a lesson from a certified instructor, and a lift ticket for the day (even after you're done with your lesson!). This package is a fantastic deal if you're trying out the sport for the first time!

Lessons will be offered on Fridays throughout the season and will alternate between ski and snowboard. We will take a van from the circle outside Union South at 4:30 PM. The night will begin with the lesson at Tyrol Basin, after which you can ski or snowboard as much as you'd like until we leave around 10 or 11 PM.

To sign up for a lesson, head to the event calendar or to the event website at https://members.hoofers.org and search for an event titled either "Beginner Ski Lesson" or "Beginner Snowboard Lesson". Once you've found a suitable event, click on the event and follow the remaining website prompts to sign up! It's that easy!
