The Jackson Tradition:
Simply put, the Spring Break trip to Jackson Hole defines the ski and snow boarding club. for well over 40 years, Hoofers have been taking busses of people to the Tetons for deep snow, back country, and sick vertical. If these things sound good to you, Jackson Hole is your place.
Furthermore, who wants to go lie on the beach for spring break when you could be riding the pow and shredding the gnar at one of the most bodacious mountain resorts in the entire world. Home of Teton Gravity Research and some rocking’ cowboys, Jackson Hole is 10,000 feet closer to the sun and will knock your socks off! Jackson Hole has 2500 acres in bounds, its 4,139 continuous vertical feet from top to bottom, and gets 400+ inches of snow per year. Plus an additional easily accessible 3000 acres out of bounds. Now... you might say "gee isn't going out of bounds against the rules?" Not at Jackson Hole! They have gates that you are allowed to use to access the out of bounds area, but remember your avalanche gear.
More info can be found at Jackson Hole's website
If you are not sold yet, ask any past participant from the trip regarding how awesome it is and I will guarantee you the conversation will be followed with a 10-20 minute story about a powder day followed by a social in Jackson.

Points will be assigned for completing different tasks like finding Hoofer bandana's on the mountain, skiing corbet's, winning our king of the mountain race, or having the worst moustache on the trip (as determined by a panel of Hoofers)! The winner will be declared "the best skiier on the mountain" and given a t-shirt! Get your poles ready for whacking, and study the pro's you will call out as this game will get serious!
